The Roblox Airline Industry Wiki

LeMonde Airlines is a German-based international airline on the Roblox platform that is very well-known for its astonishing technology, detailed airports, spotless reputation, vast size, and more. The airline operates on an Airbus and Boeing fleet and is growing more and more popular by the day, that is, until the 2020 Robux Scandal (see The Scandal), which saw the collapse of the original LeMonde Airlines. After being refounded by former Vice CEO of LeMonde, Bloodvices, the airline has rose again from the bottom, and it's now reclaiming it's spot as one of the biggest and best airlines in Roblox.

History[]

2014: The Beginning[]

Like many airlines beginning in the Roblox industry, LeMonde Airlines wasn't always the top-dog of the industry like it is today. The airline started all the way back in 2014 and was founded by EuroMalik who is still CEO at LeMonde Airlines today. The airline at this point in time was not very popular and didn't have many members at all and very few airports. Their hub at the time was Hannover International Airport which was nowhere near to the quality of LeMonde's airports today. The RoAviation community was not very fond of LeMonde at this time as it used free-model aircraft, had poor developing skills and the service was overall perfect

The airline was also not at all very realistic. The planes, buildings and overall assets were of poor quality and the livery was not very attractive and received a lot of negative reviews from the RoAviation community and the logo had nothing to do with the meaning of LeMonde's name (the world).

2015: The Reformation[]

In 2015, the airline completely turned and became what some describe as a completely new airline. This year, the airline did a big sweep in their staff team and fired any unnecessary, undertrained or bad staff in order so that they could make way for new staff members. These staff members were trained to a much higher level than their previous colleagues and increased the quality of LeMonde's overall service. The airline started to get more and more passengers and started to be noticed in the RoAviation community.

The airline also stopped using free-model assets, most noticeably their planes, and got their developers to start making their own aircraft and assets. The airline also got rid of their old livery and adopted a new, more modern and more iconic livery. The livery was completely white with three coloured stripes at the back of the fuselage, LeMonde's emblem on the tail fin and LeMonde written on both sides of the front fuselage. The livery was very clean and everybody loved it! It was recognisable, new and extremely modern.

On top of that, LeMonde shook off the reputation for bad developing skills and started to make newer and better airports which boosted them ever higher towards the top and their reputation improved drastically.

2016 - 2018: The Rise[]

In 2016, the airline continued to expand and released a new airport which was called München (Munich) International Airport. Once again, all passengers were thrilled to be part of the LeMonde journey which seemed to just get better and better and better.

But, things suddenly took an unexpected turn when, on 1st July 2018, EuroMalik announced that he would be stepping down as CEO and resigning from LeMonde Airlines on the 1st January 2019 due to the terrible state of the RoAviation industry. At this time, there was a lot of unrest within the community and it was highly effective on LeMonde especially EuroMalik who was the head of LeMonde. But fortunately, things sorted themselves out and EuroMalik decided not to resign from LeMonde and remained in his post.

2019 - 2020: The Golden Age[]

LeMonde soared even higher in 2019 and 2020 and gained more members. Eventually, they passed 20,000 members in their group in 2019. The airline really started to expand here and it was here that, on 25 July 2019, LeMonde announced on their twitter page that they would be purchasing their biggest and most expensive aircraft yet. For 50 USD, LeMonde purchased a new Airbus A380-800 from Aeson Industries. However, the price has not confirmed by any LeMonde representatives.

The airline continued to expand and released many new things including lounges, IFE's, careers days, planes and more, all of which were loved by the RoAviation community. The airline also closed down the Roblox Aviation Union and replaced it with the Avions Union which is still around to date. The Avions Union manages all of LeMonde's allies and ensures all members are active in their ally program. The airline also released two counterparts which were germanjet and LeMonde America.

OSIIDGHLIJSRDGJDIJ

A photo of a LeMonde Airlines A320-200 seen taxiing at Amrum Regional Airport and given a water salute taken in April 2020. Shortly after this, all A320s were transferred to LeMonde's subsidiary, germanjet

germanjet is a European-based budget airline that operates around Europe and serves all passengers with economy class services. The airline has a motto which is very well-known among the LeMonde community: "Cheap. That's germanjet.". All germanjet operations and services are run by LeMonde and the airline uses LeMonde Airlines' discord, twitter, group, airports, events calendar and staff. The airline mainly operates out of Amrum and Zürich.

LeMonde America was started so people in America could fly with LeMonde because LeMonde Airlines is European-based so therefore it was difficult for American people to fly with them. Thus LeMonde America was born. The airline's first CEO was EpicJakee who was not at all a well-known LeMonde staff member so there was a little bit of unrest about him becoming CEO at LeMonde America. Then suddenly EpicJakee was no longer staff at LeMonde America and this happened before the airline even started operations. But then japhens, a more well known and liked HR at LeMonde, became CEO of LeMonde America: the airline has thrived under him every since. LeMonde America, unlike germanjet, uses their own equipment and is a completely separate group but is still inside the LeMonde Group (LeMonde Airlines, germanjet & LeMonde America), is in the Avions Union and has EuroMalik as the group's holder. The airline had two of its own airports which were New York's JFK (destination is Halifax, Canada) and Munich (destination LAX), with a new airport coming soon which is going to be non-fictionally based on Houston George Bush intercontinental Airport (sadly this airport was cancelled because of the LeMonde shutdown). The airline was rapidly growing more and more popular throughout America and has carried LeMonde Airlines' ideology and way of operating perfectly into that of the American ideology and way of operating.

But there was also going to be another counterpart to LeMonde which was called elevate. which was a technology group. The idea was that of the Head of Development at LeMonde TimZockt00's. The idea was loved by the community and its aim was to make quality technology at a cheap price for all airlines big and small. But LeMonde's CEO EuroMalik shut down the idea. This was the final straw for TimZockt00 who wanted to pursue this dream and give the community good technology. TimZockt00 resigned from LeMonde shortly after claiming that 'no matter what anybody wants, the head of LeMonde will do what he wants'. Many people were upset about the departure of TimZockt00 as he was a brilliant developer and without him, LeMonde would be nowhere today. But TimZockt00 didn't give up and did startup elevate. which is still here to date and is growing at a rapid rate.

PLANESPOTTINGV1

A photo of a LeMonde Airlines Boeing 747-8i seen taxiing at Los Angeles Airport taken in March 2020

LeMonde Airlines also passed 30,000 members in April 2020 which was a big mark for them. The airline is almost catching up to the biggest active airline in the RoAviation industry which is European-based Kenya Airways, with around 49,000 members. The airline added more and more features to LeMonde. But, at around March/April 2020, LeMonde's passenger flight attendance started to decrease. So much that on one fight, there was only one passenger on board. LeMonde seemed to be fading and losing to newer upcoming airlines such as Air Monaco. But, for an unknown reason, at around the start of April, LeMonde passenger flight attendance went sky-high once again and the airline resumed normal operations.

Mid-2020: The Collapse[]

In June 2020, while LeMonde looked like it was in it's absolute peak, a crisis is developing behind the scenes of the staff of LeMonde. Most passengers were unaware of the situation by late June 2020, but tensions between LeMonde America and LeMonde Europe were rising. One case to do with the LMA board feel as if they were being viewed as "inferior" by some LeMonde Europe staff. LeMonde America may have also started to try and get competitive with The European airline for example in terms of Booster programs (as LMD was going to introduce a booster program shortly before they ceased), however, a statement regarding the “competitiveness” settled that issue. There were also tensions in bringing shared qualifications from LMA to LMD (shared qualifications were already a thing for LMD staff as they could go into LMA, but it was not possible at the time for LMA staff to go into LMD). Shortly after the 2 developers, Luca and MrBob101 were fired, it was apparently so that they were negotiating the "shared qualifications" program.

Then, on the 1st of July 2020, with the removal of Luca and Bob, tensions hit a boiling point. With unclear allegations being alleged on EuroMalik, the LeMonde Board have had enough, and certain members of the board handed an ultimatum to EuroMalik: He either hand the airline to Mrgermanjet23 (Bloodvices) and japhens, the owner of LeMonde America, or the entire board resigns and the airline collapses.

Due to these circumstances, EuroMalik did something that sealed the fate of LeMonde: He decided to delete all the servers and delete or disable all social accounts linked to LeMonde and his own social accounts, including the discord server. He then got one of his developers to start exiling people from LeMonde and demoting the Board of Directors and the other CEO (Mrgermanjet23). Some LMD executives accused Dan of stealing all the funds from the group ($1,300 in total, which is over 100,000 Robux), which was not true at all, and he actually used the funds to pay developers.

Then, after six years of operations, at 3pm GMT on the 2nd of July 2020, LeMonde Airlines, along with LeMonde America and germanjet, officially ceased operations. This came into effect after user EuroMalik, the CEO of the airline kicked every single person barring himself and a few other staff members. Many people are suggesting that LeMonde Airlines is the next company to be hit with the ”cancel culture” bug. The staff formerly working for LeMonde Airlines were all given positions at a new airline called jetAurora, an airline founded by the owners of LeMonde Airlines to turn a new leaf, although it should be noted that jetAurora is not a replacement for LeMonde Airlines.

The final LeMonde flight before The Collapse happened on July 1st, 2020 as LMD 007 at 18:45 GMT, around 21 hours before the demise. The aftermath is chaotic for not just LeMonde itself, but the Robloxian Aviation Industry as a whole. LeMonde is the leading airline for years, even becoming the leader of the Avion Union, a program to support smaller airlines. The Avion Union also dissolved shortly after, and LeMonde America shut down entirely despite not being owned by EuroMalik, as their parent airline has shut down as well. A total collapse of the entire Robloxian Airline Industry seemed imminent.

July 2020: The Revival[]

However, LeMonde Airlines was re-opened by EuroMalik himself on the 6th of July 2020. Within the next 24 hours, it had more than 1,000 members. Many employees from the new jetAurora decided to return to LeMonde, so much so that jetAurora ceased operations shortly after the reopening of LeMonde. The Airline began to bounce back, and at the reopening flight of LeMonde on July 17th, 2020, the airport of which it was serving, Paris, became full in less than a second.

LeMondeFirst

LeMonde's first flight since the reboot, a 747-8i flight from Paris to Los Angeles in July 2020.

However, with the new airline, came a new challenge for LeMonde: Exploiters. Not long after the reopening flight, LMD 646, was cancelled due to a massive exploiting issue. This would be the beginning of LeMonde's struggle to rebuild the airline, as cancellations were commonplace, some airports were unable to be used due to scripting errors, and on one day, July 20th, 2020 to be precise, flights cannot be ran due to a faulty system which kicked people innocently.

With the struggles, LeMonde is more fragile than ever, and with LeMonde struggling to rebuild the airline, came the response; On July 30th, 3 weeks after the restart, former CEO Kyxzty was removed from their position. This was due to, as LeMonde quoted: "Inactive as a CEO when the airline needed him to help rebuild, did not have the motivation that a CEO should have, wasn’t able to make decisions when decisions needed to be made, and not following simple procedures that were put in place to ensure quality in the airline." At the time, many thought that LeMonde would be over again and it looks like that the reboot has failed. However, the board appointed former Vice Chairman of LeMonde Bloodvices, which would set the tone for the re-rise of LeMonde Airlines.

Late 2020: The Renaissance[]

After the appointment of Bloodvices as the new CEO of LeMonde, things changed rapidly. LeMonde began to recover after the early struggles, and the brand new A320-NEO, which fully replaced the A320-200, whom was transferred to germanjet before the LeMonde collapse, finished it's development, and had it's maiden flight on August 13th, 2020. That same day, further details of the collapse was revealed, as japhens, the former CEO of the now-defunct LeMonde America and a current developer for LeMonde Airlines, issued an apology letter for abusing his popularity and eventually making everyone turn against EuroMalik, which brought down the historic airline.

LeMonde continued to make it's comeback as booster flights, a flight for boosters on LeMonde's discord, became a reality, of which was announced on September 2nd, 2020. On September 10th, Mrlemonde23 resigned from all affairs within LeMonde, meaning that he is only holding the airline as a figurehead. The airline's rapid growth became clear as LeMonde reached 7000 members on September 13th, but reached 8000 on September 20th.

On September 27th, 2020, Mrlemonde23, now known as Danorbis, decided to transfer the ownership of LeMonde Airlines to Bloodvices entirely, and fully quit Roblox shortly afterwards. The transfer wasn't very smooth, as many flights were cancelled during the two-day transition period. However, the transition was successful, and by October, the group is now owned entirely by Bloodvices.

LeMonde A380

The inaugural flight of LeMonde's new Airbus A380 taking off from Munich in December 2020.

October was relatively uneventful for LeMonde, with the exception of the restart flight of the 747-8i being cancelled due to Roblox issues. On November 13th, 2020, LeMonde hit 10,000 members, and 2 weeks later on November 27th, Avions Union was relaunched, which officially ended the instability inside LeMonde, as they finally secured the airline to become fully operational. On December 27th, the inaugural flight of the renewed Airbus A380-800 was held, ending LeMonde's turbulent 2020 on a good note.

Early 2021: Time of Troubles[]

2021 started off very well for LeMonde, as the brand new Airbus A350, with a state-of-the-art First Class seat being implemented. However, on January 2nd, the current CEO of LeMonde Bloodvices resigned from all staff positions, meaning that technically now LeMonde does not have a person on top. The LeMonde Board eventually selected Verisaum as the Chairman of the Board, which ironically, coincided with a rise in exploiting issues. In February 2020, Paris was renovated, and it was reopened. On February 26th however, japhens announces that the Airbus A350 would be pulled out from service due to "Safety Concerns". On August 19, 2021, Sxribe announced that the A350 was back in service and had its inaugural for the first time in a few months.

Future Events[]

  • Hamburg Rostock-Laage and Kiel will be re-opened.
  • 787-9 will be put into service.
  • New Anti-exploiting scripts to end exploiting issues, which plagued LeMonde Airlines.
  • A220-200 will be released.

Cabins and Services[]

LeMonde offers 4 classes: Economy Class, Premium Economy, Business Class and First Class (germanjet only offers Economy). Premium Economy, Business and First need to be bought with Robux but can be on discount for certain events. Upon being an Economy passenger you have access to several services. Some of these classes may not be available in all aircraft. After a viral video of an illegal class break-in by known troller Manshido was released, booking became mandatory for all PE+ Class seats, and you would be automatically be assigned to Economy if you did not book. Although you may have bought a class, you may only travel on that class in a flight if you have booked for that class via the booking board. This is usually found before security and is the place where passengers book their seats for which class they want to fly in, and also the place for passengers to book their meal (but obviously you cannot book classes that are above your class, for example PE cannot book BC). The booking board system is there to prevent overbooking for a certain class, which is why it is required for you to book before boarding a flight in most circumstances. LeMonde also has 5 basic amenities: Sleeping kit, Teddy Bear, Laptop, Magazine and Headphones (available to all classes)

Economy Class[]

Economy (or commonly referred to as EC) is the standard free class which is granted to all passengers upon joining the LeMonde group and being accepted. It is the most basic class as with almost all Economy Class in any airline with access to basic amenities and services, as well as basic seating inside the aircraft but with access to an In-Flight Entertainment system (IFE). In-flight services also include a standard meal, any extras such as a snack or a drink and any amenities. It is also the same for germanjet (as it is EC only), with the only difference being that you have no IFE and that you have a limited choice of options in the air for a meal. Economy may also be given pre-landing drinks if the host of the flight decides to do so, however, pre-landing drinks may only be done for premium classes (depends on hosts decision).

Economy Class has gained a somewhat notorious reputation in LeMonde Airlines due to it's passengers' behaviors. Due to it's free price, passengers on-board Economy Class were often toxic, and more commonly trollers were usually sitting in that area. They are also the last to board, which means some Economy passengers can attempt to sneak into a cabin, but this is now almost impossible to do.

Premium Economy[]

Premium Economy (or commonly referred to as PE) includes the same services as Economy with access to more service. It can be earned by purchasing the T-Shirt in the group store at a cost of R$349, or lower if on discount. As Premium Economy, you have multiple luxuries at your disposal:

  • Premium Lounge at all airports
  • Priority boarding over Economy
  • Pre-flight drinks services (only drinks, not snacks)
  • The ability to recline their seats

Because of it's cheap price, many passengers holds the Premium Economy ticket, and some poorer LeMonde passengers would like to stay at PE, feeling satisfied.

Business Class[]

Only available on long-haul aircraft (excluding the 737-800 configured Business Class only). Business Class (or commonly referred to as BC) includes the same services as Economy and Premium Economy but have access to more services and luxury. It can be earned by purchasing the T-Shirt in the group store at a cost of R$1,299, or lower if on discount. As a Business Class passenger, you'll have way more benefits than a Premium Economy passenger. This includes:

LeMondeBusiness

The 747-8i LeMonde Business cabin.

  • More Lounge Access
  • Priority Boarding over Premium Economy and Economy
  • Larger and more interactive seat
  • Extra meal options
  • Three-course meal
  • Hot Towels and Amenity Kits allowed

Honestly, the business class is heavily packed (I'm a client myself)

First Class[]

The most exclusive class and only available on long-haul aircraft. First Class (or commonly referred to as FC)

LeMondeFirstClass

A LeMonde First Class seat onboard the Airbus A380.

includes the same services as all the classes above with only access to more luxury. It can be earned by purchasing the T-Shirt in the group store at a cost of R$2,499, or lower if on discount. Being the pinnacle of LeMonde Airlines, you'll have so much luxuries that you could forget that you are in a game. This includes:

  • Lounge Access in All Airports
  • Access to FC-only Lounge in Jena and Space lounge in Munich Airport
  • Priority Boarding over everyone else
  • Often able to be transported to the plane via a car (Only some Paris flights)
  • Very spacious and interactive seats

Although the benefits are mouthwatering, First Class is almost always fully booked, which is why it's now not recommended to purchase First Class.

Liveries, Logos and Tail Fins[]

LeMonde Airlines has had a wide variety of Aircraft liveries over the years for many specific aircraft. However the most common livery would usually be a eurowhite livery with a tail-fin of an orangish yellow colour tail with a circle and a line crossed through it. The emblem of a circle with a line crossed through it came in 2017 and is used to this day for its logos and aircraft, sometimes with a halftone-dotted pattern emerging. However they maybe different colour schematics in the background. For example the A330-300 has this logo with a light blue background but the 747-8i has a red background, but with the same logo. Some aircraft though would have

LeMonde 2015

LeMonde Livery in 2015.

the same background such as the A330 and former A340 with the same light blue colour tail fin. LeMonde also had another tail logo introduced in 2017 (at the same time as the other emblem) which was placed for its 737, A320NEO, A330, A340 and other aircraft. it was an enlarged version of the LeMonde emblem, which does not completely fit on the tail (with different colour schemes).

In the years of 2015 - 2016 however, LeMonde’s standard logo would be a white/grey and green livery with three coloured stripes at the back of the fuselage, LeMonde's emblem on the tail fin (which at that time was shaped like 3 teardrops with one being light green, one yellow and one orange), a yellow and green tail itself and LeMonde written on both sides of the front fuselage. This was the standard livery used for all aircraft at that time (with some aircraft being excluded from this).

LeMonde's modern liveries. (Top) The A330-300 livery. (Bottom) The 737-800 Retro Livery.

germanjet’s livery and logo was the same from 2017 to 2020. It consists of a normal eurowhite livery with ‘germanjet‘ written in the front of the fuselage and a red background and on the tail-fin, with a lowercase ‘g’ on it in white (the emblem). The logo was also the same, with a red background and a lowercase ‘g’ in white. However there was also an alternative logo with the background in white and the ‘g’ in red (only for the actual logo, not aircraft).

Special Liveries and Logos[]

Due to the fact that almost every plane had a unique style and livery in its own way, LeMonde never really had any proper special liveries. This excludes the time of 2015 - 2016 where there may have been a few special liveries. Many certain aircraft may have had their liveries changed over the years such as the 737-800, which is currently resembling a “retro-style” look (but is not the actual retro livery of LeMonde). The A320-200, when it was operated by LeMonde, also had 2 different liveries (but both were liveries were used for flights at the same time).

On the other hand, the logos used for LeMonde (not for their aircraft social-wise) had changed a lot in terms of colour schematics and backgrounds, usually either representing a holiday or event, or just for change of looks. germanjet has never received any special livery or logo of any type.

Safety Audio, Announcements and Boarding Music[]

LeMonde has a lot of pre-recorded announcements used at certain times of a flight for certain uses. These range from check-in opening announcements to flight cancellation announcements used in-game. These announcements have been in use since 2015 and some of which still exist to this day, with some other new announcements being used and introduced over the years. germanjet also has a few exclusive audios, but mainly use the ones LeMonde Airlines have. LeMonde's safety Audio has also been in use since 2015 and hasn't changed since then.

As for its boarding music, LeMonde has used different boarding music over the years, which is usually the background of a song. The first boarding music was the music from British Airways - Welcome to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and ran from 2015 - 2017. From 2017 - 2018 was Katy Perry - Déjà Vu (Instrumental), and from 2019 - present is Namika - Ok (Instrumental). germanjet also has separate boarding music, but its currently unknown to what the actual music is.

Booster Programme[]

LeMonde Airlines has a booster program which involves you boosting LeMonde's official discord server to get special perks, sort of like a loyalty program. Along with boosting the discord server, you also receive:

  • A Server Booster Role
  • Access to a Server Booster Channel (an exclusive chat)
  • Permission to send embedded links and files
  • Permission to use the music bot
  • Use external emojis
  • Role higher than Loyal Members
  • Express support service directly to CEO
  • Booster Only Flights (flights in BC-only plane)

Once you stop boosting however, you will lose these perks.
