The new Vertillian Airlines logo
Vertillian Airlines is an airline based in the nation of Vertillia. The airline is a member of Star Alliance, to which it joined in 2014, along with Xbox Airlines and Air India. The airline’s hub is at Kongesbar-Zayen Mawrit International Airport.
History[]
The airline was founded in 2002, shortly after Vertillia gained its independence from the Myeega, Pioma, and Prii tribes.
The Prii Kingdom was falling, but more Prii citizens have been deciding to move in. And so, Vertillia Airlines started its first flight route from Kongesbar-Zayen Mawrit Int'l Airport to Left Nuet Int'l Airport, in Takzoma, Prii's capital.
The routing was a success and millions of Prii citizens booked with Vertillian Airlines.
And so, the airline started expanding to some of the top airports like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, London-Heathrow, Paris, Frankfurt, Toronto-Pearson, and Copenhagen.
The airline today has over 200 destinations, including over 100 in other continents, primarily in North America and Europe.
Unfortunately, the revamped government of Vertillia has gone after its indigenous peoples, most notably the Prii and Pioma peoples. The Mihak, Ravela, Sosilam, and Colores groups have tried assisting, but have failed, in which the Vertillian government has gone after all indigenous peoples in the country.
The airline acquired Olivine Airways in 2011.
The airline soon acquired Verelto Airways in 2022…
Fleet[]
The airline has a mixed Boeing and Airbus fleet. The airline also used to have plenty of Boeing 747-400s, Boeing 747-400ERs, and McDonnell Douglas MD-11s but many of these have been sold to other airlines.

Trivia[]
- The insignia on the tail logo is supposed to represent the native Vertillian velosterhawk, the country's national bird.
- In 2018, Vertillian Airlines had a massive feud with All Nippon Airways which eventually escalated into a brawl, in which took place within the Star Alliance, and no airlines took sides.
- The ICAO temporarily suspended the operator's certificate of Vertillian Airlines after an unidentified high rank, who was terminated and imprisoned since the incident, posted an offensive and racist meme about a Ugandan airliner being hijacked.
- Vertillian Airlines and all other Vertillian carriers have been blacklisted from Xhelight soil after allegations of Vertillian planes providing grounds for transport for opposition forces in the Xhelight Civil War.
